PHILADELPHIA (WLS) --
Chicago Blackhawks goalie was hospitalized Saturday to undergo an emergency appendectomy, the Blackhawks said.Corey Crawford was hospitalized in Philadelphia where the Hawks are taking on the Flyers. The team doctor said they anticipate a full recovery.
Scott Darling got the start for Crawford Saturday and the team signed Eric Semborski to serve as an emergency backup.
