This week, we feature Wheaton North High School on ABC7's Friday Flyover, celebrating high school sports.

WHEATON, Ill. (WLS) -- This week, we feature Wheaton North High School on ABC7's Friday Flyover, celebrating high school sports!

The Wheaton North Falcons go head-to-head at home Friday with rival Lake Park High School. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Go Falcons!

High School Football gets into high gear every Friday with a full slate of games supplied by the High School Cube. ABC7 Sports will air highlights of some of these games on TV during ABC 7 Eyewitness News at 10 PM.

Wheaton North High School, locally referred to as "North," is a public four-year high school. It is located at the corner of Geneva Road and Gary Avenue in the northwest corner of west suburban Wheaton. It is one of two high schools that are part of Community Unit School District 200, the other being Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

Wheaton North is consistently ranked as one of the Top Fifty High Schools in Illinois by the Chicago Sun-Times and a Top High School in the country by Newsweek. Wheaton North just celebrated their 50th Anniversary and homecoming last weekend. It's a year of celebrations.

FAST FACTS:

-Home to approximately 2,200 students in grades 9-12.

-Consistently ranked as one of the Top Fifty High Schools in Illinois by the Chicago Sun-Times and a Top High School in the country by Newsweek.

-95 percent of Wheaton North graduates attend a two or four-year college.

-In 2014, Wheaton North graduated 125 Illinois State Scholars.

-More than 50 clubs are offered at the school and more than 1,300 students participate in at least one club.

-165 teachers - 95 percent hold a Master's Degree or higher.

-School colors are blue and gold and the school mascot is a Falcon.

-Wheaton North just celebrated their 50th Anniversary!
