CHICAGO (WLS) -- Jackie Robinson West Little League players are getting support from local churches as they fight to get their national title restored.

The team from the Chicago's South Side was stripped of their championship last month due to a residency issue.

New Beginnings Church is among the supporters and the team was hosted by Pastor Corey Brooks Sunday morning.

Last week, father Michael Pfleger of Saint Sabina started a letter-writing campaign on the team's behalf.
