CHICAGO (WLS) -- Friday night's game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals was suspended by rain. Now, Saturday's rainy weather has prompted another postponement for the regularly scheduled game at U.S. Cellular Field.

According to a press release issued by the White Sox, a makeup date for Saturday's 1:10 p.m. CT start has not been determined. Fans should keep their tickets and parking coupons for the April 25 game until a rescheduled date and time have been announced.

Friday night's game was suspended after eight innings due to a forecast of continuing rain and inclement weather throughout Saturday. The game tied at 2-2. Friday's suspended game will be resumed with the start of the ninth inning prior to Sunday's regularly scheduled game. The suspended game will begin at 1:10 p.m. and Sunday's regularly scheduled game will begin following the conclusion of the suspended game, according to a press release.

On Twitter, @whitesox tweeted the following message Saturday morning:

"We'll see you guys back at the park tomorrow. For today - go @NHLBlackhawks and @chicagobulls!"
