CHICAGO (WLS) -- Lord Stanley's Cup is making its way across Chicago so fans can get their very own glimpse of victory.

The Cup visited WGN Radio Wednesday morning before returning to the United Center, where it remained much of the afternoon. Later, the Cup was spotted outside Scout in the South Loop, and is rumored to be heading to Shay in River North late Wednesday night.

Like everywhere the Cup goes in Chicago, fans are right on its tail, and the players who won it are having a great time showing it off.

"That's one of the best parts about winning is being able to enjoy the Stanley Cup with the fans and letting them see it and touch it," said Duncan Keith, Blackhawks defenseman.

For the players, it's been a whirlwind since winning the cup on Monday night. Tuesday night's tour with the cup included at least half a dozen stop, including Wrigley Field. The Stanley Cup then traveled down Clark Street to Rockit Burger Bar and Sluggers. It went on to Tavern on Rush in Gold Coast and Rockit in River North, where players shared shots of the Cup and champagne with fans outside.

"It was awesome. It was great. I obviously appreciate the hospitality from the Cubs organization, the players on the field and stuff like that. It was pretty cool for us to be able to take it out there to their venue," said Jonathan Toews, Blackhawks captain.

With the cup taking a breather from travelling for part of the day, a small group of fans gathered outside the United Center to get autographs from the players.

"Yeah. I think I got Marian Hossa and Kimmo Timonen. I got a lot," said Kevin McNamara, a Blackhawks fan.

Hawks players and coaches seem truly appreciative of all the attention.

"Seemed like this year at the start of the playoffs, it was like the momentum, the enthusiasm, the buzz around the town was at a different level than we've seen in the past," said Joel Quenneville, Blackhawks coach.

"It never gets old. The people, the excitement, everything, it's unreal. It's hard to describe, it's just a great feeling," said Corey Crawford, Blackhawks goalie.

All of the Blackhawks staff had the opportunity to take photos with the Stanley Cup on Wednesday afternoon, however, it has not been seen in public since this morning.

The Stanley Cup will be at Soldier Field for the rally celebrating the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.
