Fans can take photos with Stanley Cup at Millennium Park, Field Museum on Wednesday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Stanley Cup is coming to Millennium Park and the Field Museum.

Hockey fans can start lining up for a chance to take photos with the Cup Wednesday morning at Millennium Park.

City officials said the public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday on the stage at Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

Fans can start lining up at 8 a.m. on the west side of the pavilion in the 200-block of East Randolph Street. City officials strongly urged fans to arrive by 8 a.m. to get a spot in line because "queuing will be stopped if timing becomes an issue."

Fans should bring their own cameras or smartphones to take photos with the cup. A professional photographer will not be provided. Admission is free.

Later, the Cup will be at the Field Museum from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Visitors will be able to have their photos taken with the Cup for the cost of general admission.

Photos with the Cup are available on a first-come, first-served basis with Museum admission. Your photo with the Stanley Cup will be available free in a password-protected online gallery by October 16.

In order to make sure as many fans as possible get a chance to see the Cup, only the professional photographer provided by The Field Museum will be permitted to take posed photos.
