Man sues over calorie count on Starburst candy bag

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An Illinois man has filed suit against the manufacturer of Starburst candy, Wm Wrigley Jr. Company and Mars Inc. over the calorie count listed on a Starburst bag.

The man, Artur Tyksinski, says the bag of Starbust he purchased listed 130 calories on the front of the bag but 140 calories on the Nutrition Facts label on the back of the package

Tyksinki is seeking class action status for the lawsuit filed on August 30 in Cook County Court.
