If a bank gave you $30,000 with the instructions to make a lasting difference in your community in just one day, what would you do?
That's the real situation that was posed to 24 customers at TD Bank this past November. Twenty-four customers were given a whopping $30,000 and then needed to find a way to make a genuine impact in their respective communities. The results were pretty astounding, as each customer rose to the occasion, each with a particular goal or passion that they immediately put the $30,000 to use for.
One man utilized his funds to make sure those in his community had better accessibility to their homes.
An elementary school gym teacher put his $30,000 to providing new equipment to a struggling football league.
