CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thanksgiving is coming up, and that means many families are finding themselves in the kitchen creating culinary concoctions they may not be accustomed to making. This fall, Chicago's premier French-style pastry shop, Vanille, is whipping up their annual Thanksgiving pies. Guests who bring a box of cereal when they order will receive 10 percent off. The cereal drive lasts throughout the month of November. Pastry Chef at Vanille, Jessica Ellington, visited ABC 7's State Street Studios to show how you can make the perfect pie at home.
