TINLEY PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Singer Tim McGraw wasn't just thrilling country music fans at his concert at Tinley Park Saturday night; he also awarded a home to a local military veteran.

"U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Justin Burke in the house tonight with his wife, they'll get a brand new home thanks to Operation Homefront and Chase and because of his service to our country," McGraw told the crowd at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.

McGraw has partnered with Chase Bank and "Operation Homefront" to award a mortgage-free home to a veteran at each of his 31 tour stops.

Former Marine Justin Burke got the word that he had been selected on the same day his youngest son was born.

"I was already ecstatic from my son being born and then finding this out, it was two things," Burke said. "The greatest times of my life are finding out the best news of our lives."

His new home is in Hanover Park.
