City drivers file thousands of pothole damage complaints

That's the number of complaints filed by city drivers whose vehicles were damaged by potholes this year, twice as many claims as the last four years combined.

The city has reportedly paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars for pothole damages after the brutal winter.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel wants to raise taxes at Chicago's parking lots to raise the $10 million needed to patch those potholes all-year round.
