IDOT crews conducting emergency pothole repairs on I-55 in Bolingbrook, 1 lane closed

BOLINGBROOK (WLS) -- One lane of the southbound I-55 Expressway will be closed Monday until 3 p.m. for emergency pothole repairs, the Illinois Department of Transportation said.

Crews are repairing potholes on I-55 over Illinois 53 in Bolingbrook. The right lane of the expressway will be closed until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Drivers can expect delays and should allow for extra travel time. They are also asked to pay attention to flaggers and signs in the work zone and obey the posted speed limits.
