SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (WLS) -- A lumber truck rolled over on the Bishop Ford Freeway near 159th Street in south suburban South Holland early Monday and made a mess of the morning commute.
A flatbed semi carrying wood overturned in the outbound lanes around 4:40 a.m., the Illinois Department of Transportation said. The debris landed on both sides of the freeway.
All lanes of the Bishop Ford were shut down in both directions for about two hours, as crews cleared the scene. All lanes reopened by Monday afternoon.
No serious injuries reported.
The cause of the single-vehicle crash is under investigation.
