Trial for Lake County (Ind.) Sheriff Buncich begins Monday

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- Lake County Indiana Sheriff John Buncich goes on trial Monday for corruption charges.

Buncich and his Deputy Timothy Downs are accused of collecting bribe money from CSA towing, which got lucrative contracts.

Downs has already pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month.

The owner of CSA Towing also pleaded guilty and is expected to testify against Buncich.
