ADDISON, Ill. (WLS) -- Rosaura Macias said she feels fortunate, even twice blessed, to have won two significant lottery prizes - the latest a $300,000 Lucky Day Lotto prize.

"Seven years ago, I won $250,000 on Mega Millions and I shared my winnings with family and friends. With this Lucky Day Lotto prize it feels like the right thing to do again," Maciassaid.

The lucky Addison resident won a $300,000 jackpot, when her ticket matched all five numbers - 02 - 04 - 19 - 22 - 33 - in the November 4 evening drawing.

Macias checked her Lucky Day Lotto ticket at the gas station where she bought it. When the clerk verified that her ticket was a big winner, Macias said she couldn't believe it. She went straight home to share the news with her husband, she said.

"My husband couldn't believe that I won the lottery again, and neither could I!" Macias said.

Macias, 67, is originally from Mexico. She is married with three sons. She said she plans to share the windfall with her husband, sons, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, best friends and special neighbors. When asked if she had any advice for other lottery players, she said "I believe in the power of giving; share your fortune and you will receive more."

The occasional lottery player bought her ticket at Mill Shell, 539 West Army Trail Road in Addison. The retailer will receive a $3,000 bonus, equal to 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

Lucky Day Lotto drawings are held twice a day, seven days a week. For more information, please visit www.illinoislottery.com.
