Revised renderings of Union Station plan released

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A revised plan to upgrade Union Station was unveiled Tuesday along with new renderings.

Residents derailed the previous plan to revamp the transportation hub.

Officials say the new proposal includes a mix of office, retail and hotel offerings, as well as a new public park space.

Final approval is needed to move forward.
