Chicago-bound United Airlines flight makes emergency landing in Wichita

A United Airlines flight from Wichita to Chicago ran into trouble Wednesday night.

WICHITA, Kan. (WLS) -- A United Airlines flight from Wichita to Chicago ran into trouble Wednesday night.

Flight 5240 had to turn around because of landing gear problems. The plane made an emergency landing at Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, about an hour after takeoff.

No one was hurt.

The flight took off again for O'Hare International Airport about two hours later.
