Protesters demand U of C Hospital open trauma center

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Protesters said they will be demonstrating all night near the home of University of Chicago President Robert Zimmer.

They're demanding that the U of C Hospital open a trauma center because there aren't any in the area. Protesters say it would be much more important to the community than a presidential library.

The protest comes the same day that lawmakers passed a bill making it easier to bring both the Obama Library and the George Lucas Museum to Chicago.
