CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago non-profit organization is bringing sports to at-risk youth across the city.

Urban Initiatives has now expanded to 46 Chicago Public Schools, benefiting thousands of children. To keep their programs running, Urban Initiatives invites everyone to their 10th Anniversary Soccer Ball. The night of fun takes place on Friday, Jan. 29 beginning at 7 p.m. at Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan St., Chicago).

Proceeds from the event will directly help fund UI's health and education programs and expand to additional Chicago Public Schools. The night of philanthropy is complete with dancing, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. You can pre-purchase tickets for $200 in advance by visiting http://urbaninitiatives.org/. Tickets will also be available for $250 at the door.

Jim Dower, co-founder and executive director of Urban Initiatives, visited ABC 7 Eyewitness News' Weekend Morning Show to talk about the fun-filled Soccer Ball.
