CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thursday night is the final chance for public input as the U.S. Justice Department investigates the Chicago Police Department.

The DOJ opened its civil rights investigation in December after the release of the Laquan McDonald shooting video.

It's looking into the departments practices and handling of the McDonald case.

The meeting is taking place at the Kroc Center, 1250 W. 119th Street, at 6:30 p.m.
