USO Heartland Classic teeing off in northern suburbs

NORTHFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Golfers are teeing off for the troops Monday in the northern suburbs.

The 7th Annual USO Heartland Classic is being held at the Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield.

The United Service Organizations provides programs, services to armed forces members and their families.

Joseph Silich, chairman of the USO Illinois Board of Directors and Alison Ruble, president and CEO of USO Illinois, joined ABC7 to talk about the event.
