CHICAGO -- Walt Whitman's Soul Children of Chicago is one of Chicago's treasures.

The group is joining in the fight against bullying during October, which is National Anti-Bullying Month. The "Stand Up Stand Out" initiative started with some of their own kids feeling the sting of being bullied.

They created a new song, "Don't Push Me," which they hope will echo across the nation and the world to help stop bullying. We get to hear it here first on WCL!

Walt Whitman's Soul Children of Chicago is holding its 34th annual anniversary concert on Saturday, Oct. 24.
