Semi t-bones car on Archer Avenue in Willow Springs

WILLOW SPRINGS, Ill. (WLS) -- A semi t-boned a car in a serious injury crash on Archer Avenue in southwest suburban Willow Springs.

Archer is closed between 95th Street and Willow Springs Road while investigators look into what happened. Emergency crews were on the scene before 6 a.m. Friday.

There appears to be significant damage to the right side of the silver car, which landed in the grassy, wooded area along Archer. The semi was parked on the shoulder near the car.

Police said Archer is not expected to re-open until around 10 a.m.
