Woman, 50, suffers bullet graze wound to head in Marquette Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 50-year-old woman sustained a gunshot graze wound to her head in Marquette Park Monday evening.

Police said the woman was on the sidewalk in the 6800-block of South Rockwell at about 5 p.m. when she heard gunshots and felt pain in her head.

She was taken to Christ Hospital for treatment. Police said she sustained a graze wound, and was treated and released.

An investigation is ongoing.
