A 21-year-old man was driving a Jeep Cherokee east on 50th Street at a high rate of speed just before 11:45 p.m., police said.
He disregarded a stop sign and hit a GMC Acadia, driven by a 65-year-old man, that was traveling south on Racine Avenue, according to CPD.

The Acadia spun, became airborne and landed on top of a parked vehicle. It also appeared to hit a home.
Another parked vehicle and property in the 5000-block of South Racine were damaged.
The driver of the Acadia declined medical attention, but the 21-year-old was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center with bruising.
He is in custody, and charges are pending, police said.
