Police said all of it unfolded on the sidewalk near the House of Blues just after 1 a.m. That's where police said two women were in a verbal altercation with an unknown male offender, who then pulled out a gun and shot both women multiple times.
Some people nearby saw the shooting and described the initial chaos.
"I heard about three, four shots," said Justin Beters, a witness. "I heard a bunch of females surrounding another female laying on the ground. She wasn't moving, and they were yelling and crying, and screaming for help."
