More than 78% of Illinois adults have received at least one vaccine dose and more than 61% are fully vaccinated

A total of 14,005,857 vaccines have been administered in Illinois as of Thursday. The seven-day average in new doses administered has dropped from 40,046 to 26,431. That seemingly large drop is due to the 122,680 doses reported on Aug. 26 no longer being included in the 7-day average. Since last Friday, 185,014 vaccines were administered.
