Nine of the ten are seniors and one is a sophomore, the school said.
Less than .2% of ACT test takers ace the exam.
The 2025-26 school year is the second year that the Illinois State Board of Education administered the ACT as a state-mandated assessment, following six years of administering the SAT.

"While we are incredibly proud to recognize and celebrate these 10 students, Hinsdale Central is fortunate to have a number of students who excel on both the ACT and SAT each year," a spokesperson representing the school said.
Last year, 23 students at Whitney Young High School got perfect scores on their ACTs.
