WHEELING, Ill. (WLS) -- Charges have been filed nearly three months after a deadly hit-and-run crash near Chicago Executive Airport, officials said Thursday.

Janette Domínguez Urbina is accused of driving the car that hit a man near the Wheeling airport in May.

Prospect Heights police said its officers responded to the area of 79 East Palatine Frontage Road in Wheeling just after 9 a.m. May 3

A man's body was found on the ground there along a fence, police said. He was identified as John Folan, 68 of Prospect Heights, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.

Prospect Heights police say Folan was hit by a vehicle that was later determined to be driven by Urbina.

She appeared in court Thursday and will be held in custody pending her next court date, which is set for August 21.
