CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago lab owner has pleaded guilty to conspiring with a former Loretto Hospital executive in a COVID-19 testing scheme.

In a change of plea Wednesday, Mohamed Sirajudeen admitted to working with former Loretto CFO Anosh Ahmed to defraud the government of tens of millions of dollars.

Charges against two other co-defendants were dropped over allegations of misconduct by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The case against Ahmed is still moving forward.
