CPD called to home where mass shooting occurred before

She said it was very scary to see several people brought out on stretchers dressed up, she said, as if they were attending a party.

Neighbors confirmed what began as a large house party Monday afternoon ended in deadly gunfire.

Chicago police responded to the home just after 2 p.m.

Eight people were shot in total, four men and four women ages 20 to 35.

Three men died.

Two were identified Tuesday.

Jon Carlos Blancarcer, 28, and Hector M. Sajo, 26, both were shot multiple times, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.

"The girls were very young, the guys, too, very young," Guidirrama said.

Mayor Brandon Johnson extended his condolences, saying in a statement:

"We as a city are praying and grieving for all the victims, survivors, and their families. There is no place in our city for senseless acts of violence."

Meanwhile, investigators have not yet determined a motive or if a suspect was injured in the shooting.

"We are going to solve this crime, and find the individuals that are responsible for this heinous, terrible, incident," CPD Deputy Chief Jon Hein said.

Police said they have been called to that home before.

"You hear music, and people coming in and out, like, smoking, and with, like, drinks in their hands," said El Towers. "It was, like, over 20 people."

The mayor's office said it will work closely with CPD to ensure those responsible are held accountable.

The shooting took place in the 14th Ward, which borders Alderman Ray Lopez's 15th Ward.

Lopez said he's been told police have been called to the home numerous times in recent months.

But he's unaware of any incidents of violence there.

No one is in custody.

Some neighbors said they believe a migrant family has been living at the house for the last several months.

Chicago police and city building inspectors were back on the scene Tuesday.
