Serial bank robber steals money from Lincoln Park bank for 2nd time; FBI offers reward

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A serial Chicago bank robber robbed a Lincoln Park Huntington Bank for the second time last week, the FBI said.

The suspect was last reported robbing the Huntington Bank located at 1400 W. Fullerton Ave. in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood on Aug. 27. He wore a black cap, black face covering, light-colored hoodie, black pants, black shoes and carried a white bag at the time of the robbery, the FBI said.



The unknown suspect is also wanted for robberies on May 9, May 14, May 15 and June 2 of this year.

The FBI said he previously robbed the Fullerton Avenue bank, as well.



The FBI posted a $5,000 reward for information that will directly lead to the arrest of a serial bank robber. The identity of the robber is currently unknown to officials.

The FBI requests that anyone with information related to the robberies contact their local FBI Office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. The public can also anonymously report tips at 312-421-6700 and tips.fbi.gov.

The FBI warns that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
