Man killed, 2 others hurt in Humboldt Park shooting, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's Northwest Side.



The shooting happened on Sunday at about 12:44 a.m. in the 1000 block of N. Springfield Avenue, police said.

Chicago police said a man allegedly pulled out a gun amid an argument and started shooting.

A 38-year-old man was shot multiple times. Police said he was taken to St. Mary Hospital, where he died.



A 28-year-old man was shot in the chest and int he right arm. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

A 44-year-old woman was shot in the wrist. She is expected to be OK.

Police said they found a weapon at the scene. Nobody is in custody.
