BEACH PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- The Lake County' Sheriff's Office has released images of a pickup truck wanted for a deadly hit-and-run crash last weekend in north suburban Beach Park.

The crash happened at about 5:50 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Sallmon Avenue in Beach Park, sheriff said.

The sheriff said a maroon 2017 GMC Sierra hit 19-year-old Adrian Rogel-Villanueva as he rode his motorcycle. The driver then took off.

The truck has damage to the front end and passenger side, the sheriff said. Investigators believe the truck is garaged or at a body shop.

Sheriff's deputies said they found Rogel-Villanueva near a motorcycle after the crash last weekend. He died at the scene, officials said.

The sheriff said the Kawasaki sports bike he was riding had damage consistent with being struck by another vehicle.

Nobody is in custody. No further information was available.
