WINFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Metra Union Pacific West Line trains were disrupted after a pedestrian was struck by a train Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred near the Winfield Station.
A Metra spokesperson said the pedestrian was transported to Central DuPage Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Shortly before 9:15 a.m., Metra said inbound trains were clear to operate to Elburn and experiencing residual delays.
