Puppy stolen from Chicago shelter adopted after safe return, Anti-Cruelty says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Anti-Cruelty shared a happy update on a 2-month-old puppy who was stolen from a Chicago shelter.



Peter, a Dachshund mix, has been adopted!

On Sunday, Anti-Cruelty said that Peter had been stolen from the River North shelter.

On Monday, they confirmed Peter was safely returned by the people who took him.



He's now found his forever home.

The nonprofit even shared pictures and video of Peter doing yoga.

His new family says they're excited to have him.
