Xandria Harris is charged in the murder of Bradley Police Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic at a Bradley hotel in 2021.
Her partner, Officer Tyler Bailey was critically wounded in the shooting.
That night, the two officers were responding to a call about dogs barking outside a hotel near the Northfield Square Mall.

Investigators said Harriss' co-defendant and then boyfriend Darius Sullivan shot the officers as they confronted him at his hotel room door. This took place in front of the couple's children, police said.
Sullivan was convicted of murder and is serving a mandatory life sentence.
Harris is facing the same charges. She's accused of helping disarm Sgt. Rittmanic for Sullivan to shoot her.
Last month the trial for Harris was abruptly halted and the selected jurors were released.
The trial for Harris starts at 10 a.m. Monday.
