A family member of one rider told ABC7 Chicago they were stuck for more than an hour.
Chicago police confirmed all riders were off the ride. No other information was provided.
No injuries were reported, according to a Navy Pier spokesperson.
An "electrical component" failed, which caused the ride to stop.
The component that failed was replaced, and the wheel was back up and running on Sunday, according to the spokesperson.
