Will County residents who suffered storm damage in late July now eligible for low-interest loans

WILL COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- Will County residents who suffered storm damage in late July are now eligible for low-interest loans.

The federal disaster funds are for damage suffered on July 27.



The loans may help repair or replace disaster-damaged homes, personal property, businesses, machinery, equipment, inventory, and other eligible property.

Certain businesses and private nonprofit organizations may also qualify for assistance with economic losses caused by the disaster.



Crews will be out this week assessing damage from the Aug. 11 storms. Funds may be made available for that damage as well.
