Body of woman found by trash collectors in Brainerd

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Trash collectors found the body of a woman in her 30s Monday afternoon in Chicago's Brainerd neighborhood.

The workers discovered the body while collecting garbage.

The body was found in the back of a garbage truck in the 500 block of West 95th Street on the city's South Side.

The woman was believed to be between 30 and 35. Her identity was not immediately known.

Police were investigating late Monday.
