Americans eating out more often

The average American went to a fast food chain or a restaurant four times a week last year, up 60 percent since the end of the Great Depression.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index says McDonald's ranked last among fast food restaurants. However, McDonald's overall satisfaction score has improved.

Papa John's and Pizza Hut tied with the top score among fast food restaurants.

Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden received the highest satisfaction scores among the five largest full-service restaurants.
