New Target in Hyde Park hiring employees

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Target plans to hire about 75 employees for its new store in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Job fairs will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 11 - 13 and Aug. 18 - 19 at Kenwood Academy High School, 5015 S. Blackstone Ave., Chicago.

The store is schedule to open Nov. 2 at the new Vue53 mixed-use development at 1346 E. 53rd St.

The store will be a flexible-format store, which are smaller. This will be Target's fourth such store. Other flexible-format locations in the Chicago area are at State Street, Streeterville and Lincoln Park North.
