Chicago-area students take part in White House Science Fair

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- Some Chicago-area high school science students met President Barack Obama Tuesday as they took part in the White House Science Fair.

Lydia Wolfe and John Moore represented the Chicago Knights robotics team, made up of sixth through twelfth graders. Some of their work was on display at the White House.

This year's displays showcase excellence in science, technology, engineering and math, also known as STEM studies.
