CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago Public Schools teachers, parents and administrators are teaming up to demand funding from state lawmakers.
CPS CEO Forrest Claypool led the "20 for 20" rally at Mount Greenwood Elementary School on Wednesday.
CPS Students make up 20 percent of the state's total school enrollment and Chicago residents contribute 20 percent of the state's income tax but Claypool says the district only receives 15 percent of total funding.
