Chicago Media Project launches 3rd year with new documentary

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Media Project is launching its third year of programming with the premiere of the documentary "Almost Sunrise" Thursday night at the Chicago Cultural Center.

"Almost Sunrise" tells the story of two veterans from Milwaukee who were tormented by depression and thoughts of suicide for years after they returned home from Iraq.

Director Michael Collins and Paula Froehle from the Chicago Media Project stopped by ABC7's studio to speak about the film.
