Nik Wallenda high-wire walk preparations begin along Chicago River

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Preparations have begun for Nik Wallenda's high-wire walk across the Chicago River next weekend.

Wires were installed between the Leo Burnett Building and Marina Towers on Sunday. They will be used for cameras.

The wires Wallenda will be walking on have not been installed yet.

The Discovery Channel will be filming the historic event, which will take place Sunday, Nov. 2.
