Friday rehearsal the real deal at Chicago Air and Water Show

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Friday might just be a rehearsal for the Chicago Air and Water Show, but for many people it's the best way to beat the weekend crowds.

Pilots said they treat Friday just the same as the rest of the action-packed weekend shows that draw millions to the lakefront.

"The air show here on Friday is always the best. You get the same amount of performance, but you get less crowds. It's a little bit more comfortable," Frank Angileri said.

The Chicago Air and Water Show 2014 includes the U.S. Army Golden Knights and U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
