HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- Crews were working on final touches Sunday morning at the Dolby Theatre to be ready for the biggest names in Hollywood at the 88th Oscars ceremony.

A slew of actors, actresses, directors, composers and more are expected to walk down the red carpet in hopes of winning an iconic gold statue at the industry's oldest entertainment awards ceremony.

The glowing red carpet where celebrities will be sauntering down for the fashion show before the show appeared ready for the glitz and glam.

Although a lot of bling is expected, there is a fair share of controversy that unfolded in January after it was revealed that for the second year in a row, every acting nominee was white.

Celebrities and public figures such as Steven Spielberg and Donald Trump chimed in with their opinions, and some are planning to boycott the ceremony.

Live red carpet coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET | 4 p.m. CT | 2 p.m. PT with "ON THE RED CARPET AT THE OSCARS." Check your local listings.
