Kid Rock cancels, reschedules Chicago concert due to lost voice

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Kid Rock has canceled his concert originally scheduled for Sunday, July 26, because he lost his voice. The show will be rescheduled for Sept. 12.

In a press release, Kid Rock said, "I know people have made plans, took time off, got baby sitters, took road trips and planned events around these shows. My voice is simply gone right now."

The rescheduled show will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. Tickets for the July 26 show will be honored on the new date.
