Michael Shannon, Billy Dec to host A Red Orchid Theatre's annual gala
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Red Orchid Theatre's critically-acclaimed productions attract diverse audiences from across the country every year. This year, the theatre celebrates 22 successful years of exceptional, ensemble-based theater in Chicago with its annual gala on Nov. 8. Co-hosts for the event are Academy Award Nominee Michael Shannon, who co-founded A Red Orchid Theatre, and Billy Dec, CEO of RockIt Ranch Productions and Emmy Award-winning contributor for ABC 7's Windy City Live.
Rockit Ranch Productions owns and operates award-winning venues Rockit Bar & Grill, The Underground, Sunda New Asian, Rockit Burger Bar, Bottlefork, AY CHIWOWA and The Duck Inn. A Red Orchid Theatre's 2014 gala will take place in two of these venues, Sunda New Asian and The Underground. Billy Dec came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to tell us all about the gala, as well as his latest television adventure.
